Adding to the growing list of Hollywood men accused of sexual abuse, Aziz Ansari has now been hit with sexual misconduct allegations.
The Master of None actor, who recently won a Golden Globe, has been accused by a 23-year-old photographer of sexual assault.
The woman went on to explain how her date with Ansari "turned out to be the worst night of her life."
Aziz Ansari is an Indian-American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and director who is famous for his Netflix original comedy series "Master of None." The critically acclaimed series has won 3 Emmys and a Golden Globe award.
Recounting her experience, the 23-year-old Brooklyn photographer, referred to as Grace for anonymity, said that she met Ansari at the 2017 Emmys.
In a very graphic account, Grace explained her nightmarish date with the actor where the two went to dinner in Manhattan and returned to his apartment. She alleged Ansari of coercing her to perform oral sex on him, among other things.
Grace presented the text messages between her and Ansari the next day where he asked how the date was for her.
She responded saying that he ignored clear non-verbal clues and kept going with advances. "I want to makes sure you're aware so may be the next girl doesn't have to cry on the ride home." Ansari apologized for "misreading things."
Interestingly, Ansari sported the Time's Up pin in solidarity with the victims of sexual assault and also lent his support during his Golden Globe speech.
