Honda has pulled the covers off its premium SUV, the 2020 Honda CR-V.
The facelifted model is expected to go official in US by December 2019 followed by other global markets including India.
The 2020 CR-V comes with a bunch of design changes and a new hybrid motor, while retaining the interiors of the current model.

The CR-V facelift features a premium sporty design with a hexagonal cascading grille, indicator-mounted ORVMs, blacked-out wheel arches, dual exhausts, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The chrome-finished roof rails and chrome work around the windows as well as tailgate add to its premium styling.
Further, the SUV houses an all-LED lighting setup for headlamps, DRLs, fog lights, and taillamps.

The global variant of the 2020 CR-V packs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors. This combined unit produces 212PS of power. There is also a 1.5-liter turbocharged mill which churns out 190PS of power and 242Nm of peak torque.

Notably, the India-bound CR-V is unlikely to get the hybrid engine option. However, it is expected that the company would launch the facelifted model with the BS6-compliant variants of the existing engines.
Presently, the Indian variant of the Honda CR-V is offered with 1.6-liter diesel and 2.0-liter petrol engine options.
The diesel unit churns out 120PS of power while the petrol unit makes 154PS.

The 2020 Honda CR-V comes equipped with disc brakes on all wheels along with ABS and EBD for better road handling.
The car offers upto six airbags, engine immobilizer for anti-theft provisions, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
