As for the highlights, the vehicle has an imposing design and a luxurious cabin with a bevy of tech-based features. It is offered with a choice of three petrol as well as diesel engines.
Why does this story matter?
- The third-generation Ford Everest offers better looks, more features, and improved performance as compared to the outgoing model. It should attract quite a few customers in the international markets.
- The previous-generation model was available in India as the Endeavour. However, the new car is unlikely to come here as the brand has wrapped up operations on our shores.

The Ford Everest runs on a 3.0-liter, turbo-diesel V6 engine, a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel mill, and a 2.3-liter EcoBoost petrol unit. However, the power figures are yet to be disclosed. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Wider tracks and tweaked dampers ensure better performance.
