    What's the story

After a bunch of leaks and rumors, Bajaj Auto has finally launched the Pulsar 125 Neon in India.

Starting at Rs. 64,000, it is the most affordable motorcycle from the Pulsar line-up.

Notably, the motorcycle is offered in two variants: the standard model with drum brakes on both sides and the other variant with disc brake on the front wheel.

    Here's our roundup.

    Design

Let's take a look at the all-new Pulsar 125 Neon

The new Pulsar 125 Neon shares its design with the Pulsar 150 Neon. It features a semi faired sporty look with body-colored front mudguard and blacked-out alloy wheels.

The motorcycle gets neon paint treatment on the fuel tank, grab rails, and alloy wheels.

Moreover, it is available in Blue, Red, and Silver Neon color options, with Matte Black being the base color.

    Information

    Power and performance

The Pulsar 125 Neon is fueled by a 125cc DTS-i engine which is capable of producing 11.8bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm and 11Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. For transmission duties, the motorcycle gets a five-speed manual gearbox.

    Safety

And, what about the safety and suspension setup?

For braking performance, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon comes equipped with disc/drum brake on the front wheel, drum brake on the rear wheel, along with mandatory combined braking system (CBS) as per new safety norms.

The motorcycle houses telescopic forks on the front and a dual shock absorber on the rear to handle suspension duties.

    Information

Finally, what is the pocket pinch?

In India, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon costs Rs. 64,000 for the standard drum brake variant and Rs. 66,620 for the front disc brake model. Lastly, the motorcycle goes up against rivals such as Honda Shine and Hero Super Splendor.
