Maruti offering up to ₹2L off on cars this December
What's the story
Maruti Suzuki is giving huge year-end discounts for this month across its Arena and Nexa retail networks. The deals vary by model and variant, offering a combination of cash discounts, exchange/scrappage bonuses, corporate/institutional schemes, and rural offers. In some cases, total benefits easily exceed ₹50,000 while select Nexa models offer savings of up to ₹2 lakh.
Car 1
Alto K10
Maruti Suzuki's most affordable hatchback, the Alto K10, is getting strong entry-level incentives this December. Both manual and AGS petrol variants get a consumer discount of ₹25,000. This is further supplemented by an exchange bonus of up to ₹15,000 or a scrappage benefit of up to ₹25,000. Additional institutional and rural offers take the total maximum benefit to around ₹52,500. The CNG version has similar benefits making it one of the most discounted cars in its segment this month.

WagonR and Celerio
The popular WagonR hatchback has a ₹30,000 consumer discount on petrol MT and AGS versions. An exchange bonus of up to ₹15,000 and scrappage benefits of up to ₹25,000 are also available. The total discounts go up to ₹58,100 when rural and institutional schemes are included. The Celerio model also gets similar incentives across its range with total savings going up to ₹52,500 including rural/institutional schemes.

Swift and Brezza
The popular Swift hatchback comes with a ₹25,000 consumer discount on all petrol variants. An exchange bonus of up to ₹15,000 and scrappage benefit of up to ₹25,000 are also available. Institutional offers further sweeten the deal with total benefits going up to around ₹55,000. The Brezza model gets a consumer offer of ₹10,000 along with an exchange bonus of up to ₹15,000 and scrappage benefit worth up to ₹25,000.
Car 6, 7, 8
Dzire, Ertiga and Eeco
The Dzire sedan offers a flat ₹10,000 consumer discount on both petrol and CNG variants. The Ertiga MPV also gets a similar offer structure with no major exchange or scrappage-linked additions. The Eeco model is one of the most incentivized people-movers with benefits going up to ₹52,500 for passenger petrol variants (excluding cargo and ambulance versions).

Ignis and Baleno
The Ignis flaunts a consumer discount of up to ₹50,000 on petrol MT variants. This is supported by an exchange bonus of up to ₹15,000 and a scrappage benefit of up to ₹30,000. The Baleno has some of the strongest discounts in the premium hatchback space this December, with total savings going up to around ₹87,100 for AGS variants.
Car 11, 12
Fronx and XL6
The Fronx model gets combined benefits of up to ₹60,000 for non-turbo petrol MT and AGS variants. The CNG version gets savings of around ₹45,000. Turbo variants offer buyers a choice between higher cash discounts or a Velocity accessory kit worth around ₹43,000. The XL6 MPV gets balanced but meaningful incentives across both petrol and CNG powertrains with total savings going up to around ₹50,000 depending on variant and eligibility.

What about Invicto?
Finally, the Invicto MPV gets selective yet noteworthy offers. The Zeta and Alpha variants get a flat ₹1 lakh consumer benefit, while the variants eligible for exchange/scrappage see total savings jump to roughly ₹2.15 lakh.
