BMW begins i3 electric sedan European rollout ahead of schedule

BMW is rolling out its i3 electric sedan in Europe ahead of schedule thanks to strong demand.
The First Edition will start at €75,340 in Germany, with production kicking off in Munich this August and deliveries following soon after.
i3 First Edition packs M Sport
You get the M Sport Package, illuminated grille, Harman Kardon audio, three-zone climate control, and fast 22-kW AC charging as standard.
There are six exterior colors and four wheel designs to pick from, plus extras like heated rear seats or a panoramic glass roof if you want to upgrade.
A more affordable base model arrives this fall, and BMW plans even more electric options for the future, including a US launch in 2027.
