BMW Group India plans 27 product introductions, expects double-digit growth
BMW Group India has big plans for 2026: 27 product introductions are on the way, with 10 major launches and 17 special editions and variants.
The brand wants to stay on top as India's luxury car leader, and it's working: sales jumped 17% in the first quarter, even after two price hikes.
BMW expects double-digit growth for the rest of the year.
BMW India expands MINI retail network
Hardeep Singh Brar, BMW Group India's president and CEO, says price increases haven't slowed things down: "I do not see any negative impact," he shared.
MINI sold 730 units last year, and MINI is getting extra attention too, targeting over 1,000 units in 2026 (up from 730 last year).
To help with that push, BMW is expanding MINI's retail network and adding more touchpoints for its main brand.
Sedans still matter in luxury cars here. They make up a solid chunk alongside SUVs.
