BMW M440i Convertible to replace Z4 in India by 2026
BMW is bringing the M440i Convertible to India by mid-2026, catering to buyers following the Z4's discontinuation.
Built on the latest 4 Series Coupe platform, it features a quick-folding fabric roof you can open or close in just 18 seconds—even while driving up to 50km/h.
What's inside and under the hood?
The M440i stands out with its sharp LED headlights, classic kidney grilles, and a modern interior featuring a big curved touchscreen and digital driver's display.
You also get a Harman Kardon sound system and powered sports seats for extra comfort.
Performance-wise, it runs on a strong 3.0-liter turbo straight-six engine (374hp) paired with an eight-speed automatic, sprinting from 0-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
Expected price? Around ₹1.1 crore—putting it right up against the Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet in India.
