Chrysler recalls more than 178,000 Pacifica and Voyager minivans
Chrysler is recalling more than 178,000 Pacifica and Voyager minivans from 2022 through 2026 because some curtain airbags might not work properly in a crash.
If these airbags don't hold enough pressure, there's a risk that people could be thrown out through the side windows during certain accidents.
About 30% of the recalled minivans are affected, making this a pretty serious safety issue.
Chrysler to notify owners, replace airbags
This isn't the first time Chrysler has dealt with airbag problems. It had similar recalls last year.
After finding more defects in March 2026, it decided to act fast: owners will get notified by April, and Chrysler will replace one or both faulty airbags to keep everyone safe.
The company says no injuries or crashes have been reported so far, but it's not taking any chances when it comes to safety standards.
