Delhi just gave its electric vehicle (EV) policy another three-month boost, starting April 1, 2026.
The move keeps incentives rolling while the city preps a bigger, updated plan to fight air pollution and make EVs more mainstream.
Delhi draft targets 7,000 chargers
The upcoming EV Policy 2.0 (2026-2030) aims to add 7,000 charging points and 100 battery swapping stations this year, pushing Delhi's total past 16,000 spots.
The draft also suggests bringing in mini-cabs and e-rickshaws for easier last-mile rides in crowded areas.
All of this is part of Delhi's push for cleaner air and smoother electric commutes.
