Dodge Durango GT V6 makes a comeback for 2026

Auto

Dodge is bringing back the V-6 engine for the 2026 Durango GT as the supply of Hemi engines ramps up.
The new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 puts out a solid 295hp and 353Nm of torque, giving buyers more flexibility alongside the beefier Hemi engines.

Price and why it matters

The 2026 Durango GT V-6 starts at $40,990 (including destination fees), which is $500 more than last year but still $3,500 less than the Hemi version.
All-wheel drive can be added for $2,000 extra.
With this move, Dodge is making the Durango a stronger rival to SUVs like the Kia Telluride and Ford Explorer—especially if you're looking for a three-row SUV that won't break the bank.
