Ferrari acknowledges error in removing physical buttons

Ferrari is ditching those tricky touch-sensitive controls and bringing back good old physical buttons, starting with the new Amalfi model.
After drivers found the touch setup frustrating, the Amalfi now sports classic buttons on a redesigned steering wheel—plus it keeps its signature V-8 power.

TL;DR

Ferrari will upgrade existing cars with physical buttons

Ferrari says future models will also stick with physical buttons.
If you already own a Ferrari with touch controls, you can get your steering wheel upgraded at dealerships without swapping out the whole thing.
Despite some tech hiccups, Ferrari's still breaking sales records in 2024 and has so many orders that new buyers will be waiting until 2027 to get their cars.
