Honda announces major recall for 3 motorcycle models

Auto

Honda is recalling some 2025 models—Africa Twin 1100, Rebel 1100, and XL750 Transalp—because a faulty bolt could cause oil to leak onto the rear tire. That's a big safety issue since it can make bikes slippery and increase crash risks.

Details of the recall

About 1,016 bikes are part of this recall (roughly one percent of these models). The problem was spotted during a factory check in Japan late last year. Honda fixed the issue for bikes made after February 17, 2025. If you own one of these models built before then in the US, you'll get an official heads-up starting July 25.
