Why does this story matter?
- The Honda CB500X has always been a favorite among people who favor long-distance rides. The 2022 model is bound to increase that love with the upgraded features.
- The new front suspension along with the much lighter aluminium front wheel will make riding smoother. Add to that the 1kg lighter swingarm and dual brakes, we get an adventure tourer that is bound to attract buyers.
The two-wheeler sports a semi-faired look
The 2022 Honda CB500X sits on a steel tube chassis and has an eye-catching semi-faired look, a muscular fuel tank, a single-piece seat, an upswept exhaust, and a transparent windscreen. The bike packs an LCD instrument panel, an all-LED lighting arrangement, and blacked-out alloy wheels. It is available in a new Pearl Organic Green with Black shade.
It is fueled by a 47hp engine
The Honda CB500X is powered by a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder engine that churns out 47hp of maximum power at 8,500rpm and 43Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The mill is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
The bike has dual disc brakes on the front
To ensure the rider's safety, the Honda CB500X is equipped with dual disc brakes on the front and a single disc brake on the rear wheel, along with dual-channel ABS for improved handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the two-wheeler are taken care of by Showa SFF-BP USD forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit with adjustable preload on the rear.
