Hyundai debuts 1st-ever body-on-frame Boulder Concept New York Auto Show
Hyundai just showed off its bold new Boulder Concept at the New York Auto Show, giving us a first look at where its truck game is headed.
This is Hyundai's first-ever body-on-frame platform, setting the stage for a midsize pickup expected to hit roads by 2030.
The Boulder also hints at Hyundai's fresh "Art of Steel" design vibe.
Boulder Concept boxy design, multi-powertrain platform
The Boulder rocks a boxy shape, chunky 37-inch mud tires, and a double-hinged tailgate, definitely built for adventure.
Inside, it swaps old-school gages for a heads-up display projected right onto the windshield, mixing retro style with futuristic tech.
Plus, this new platform is expected to support electric, hybrid, and combustion powertrains as Hyundai gears up to compete in the midsize truck scene.
More details on future models are expected soon.
