Maruti to deliver over 51,000 cars on Dhanteras
This Dhanteras, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for a milestone—delivering over 51,000 new cars across India.
That's a big leap from last year's 41,500 and shows just how much demand has picked up thanks to fresh discounts and recent GST cuts on small cars.
Maruti's Dhanteras delivery push
Maruti rolled out 38,500 cars on October 18 alone and expects another 10,000 deliveries by October 19.
The buzz is mostly about hefty discounts—up to ₹57,500 off on the Wagon R and ₹52,500 on the Alto K10—including cash deals and exchange offers that are hard to ignore.
Small car bookings have shot up since GST rate cut
After September's GST rate cut, small car bookings shot up—Maruti clocked in around 4.5 lakh bookings since then, of which one lakh is for small cars.
Even with some waiting periods for popular models, Maruti anticipates that October 2025 sales might top September's record numbers due to ongoing high demand.
