Nissan Motor India posts 5-year high, Gravitas fuels March sales
Nissan Motor India hit a five-year high in March 2026, with domestic wholesale of 4,408 units, including a massive 98% jump in domestic sales from February.
The big driver? The start of customer deliveries of the all-new Nissan Gravite, which clearly struck a chord with buyers.
Exports added another 5,980 units to the tally.
Nissan doubles down on Gravite Magnite
The Gravite's strong debut is part of Nissan's fresh push to revive its presence in India, with plans for more new models ahead.
Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa called March "March has been a defining month for Nissan in India, the strong growth in domestic sales reflects the positive customer response to our product portfolio. ", crediting the warm customer response for boosting momentum.
Going forward, Nissan is doubling down on the Gravite and Magnite models to keep up this positive trend.
