Nissan's new midsize SUV, the Tekton, nicknamed "Baby Patrol" for its resemblance to the iconic Patrol, will make its global debut in Mumbai on July 9.
Aimed at taking on popular rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, the Tekton is Nissan's latest push to make a mark in India's crowded SUV scene.
Tekton teaser previews Duster-based features
The teaser shows off a boxy look with flat rooflines, chunky wheel arches, and connected taillights.
Built on the Renault Duster platform but with its own unique style, it packs in features like dual digital displays, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Under the hood, you'll likely get 1.0-liter or 1.3-liter turbo gasoline engines now, with a hybrid version coming later.
