Nissan's new 7-seater MPV coming to India in December 2025

Auto

Nissan is bringing a brand-new seven-seater MPV to India by December 2025, aiming for folks who want more space without a huge price tag.
Built on the Renault Triber's platform, this car is part of Nissan and Renault's push to shake up the compact MPV scene with fresh looks and modern features.

Design and features: What's cool

The new MPV will stand out with a bold hexagonal grille, updated headlamps, C-shaped bumper accents, roof rails, and its own alloy wheels.
Inside, you'll get flexible seating for up to seven (like the Triber) plus upgrades like a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Engine and price: The basics

Under the hood is a 1.0-liter petrol engine (72hp/96Nm), paired with either a manual or AMT gearbox—nothing fancy but solid for city drives.
Starting at around ₹6.2 lakh (ex-showroom), it lines up closely with the Triber on price, making it one of the most budget-friendly ways to haul your crew or friends around.
