This limited-run 911 GT3 marks 75th anniversary of Porsche UK
What's the story
Porsche has launched a special edition of its iconic 911 GT3 sports car, the Earls Court 51 Edition. The new model celebrates the 75th anniversary of Porsche Cars Great Britain and highlights the customization options offered by Porsche's Sonderwunsch division. Limited to just 51 units, each one is inspired by the first Porsche 356 coupes imported into the UK in 1951.
Aesthetic appeal
The car comes in Earls Court Green metallic finish
The Earls Court 51 Edition is based on the wingless Touring variant of the 911 GT3. It comes in a unique metallic Earls Court Green finish, created through Porsche's Paint to Sample Plus program. The car also features silver door handles, mirror caps, and a bonnet stripe. Special motifs inspired by the Earls Court theme are present on the exterior, while diamond-cut wheels with green inserts add a touch of elegance.
Interior design
It features Paldao green leather on upper doors
The interior of the Earls Court 51 Edition is just as unique, with a special color and trim combination. It features Paldao green leather on the upper doors and dashboard, while Chalk Beige upholstery covers the seats. The sports seats come with custom-made corduroy inlays, a special item from Sonderwunsch. No mechanical changes have been made to this model. It still packs a naturally-aspirated, 4.0-liter flat-six engine that delivers 503hp at 8,500rpm and torque of up to 450Nm at 6,250rpm.
