Tata Sierra set to launch in India soon
Tata Motors is bringing back the Sierra as a compact SUV with retro-inspired looks and up-to-date features. Launching between October 2025 and March 2026, it's designed to appeal to both nostalgia lovers and those who want the latest tech in their ride.
Features a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine with manual/automatic gearbox options
Under the hood, you get a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine (about 170hp/280Nm), with rumors of a possible 2.0L turbo-diesel option too. Choose between six-speed manual or automatic gearboxes. Safety is solid: up to seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, plus Level-2 ADAS features like lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.
Tata Motors is expected to price the Sierra around ₹10.5 lakh
Expected price is around ₹10.5 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it right up against popular SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, VW Taigun, Honda Elevate, and MG Astor—so if you want something that stands out but still fits your budget and lifestyle, this might be worth waiting for!
