What's the story

British automaker Triumph has announced that it will launch its Trident 660 motorcycle in India soon. Its bookings are underway against a token amount of Rs. 50,000. As for the highlights, the premium two-wheeler has a sporty look and comes with a digital instrument console as well as a full-LED lighting setup. It runs on a 660cc, 3-cylinder engine. Design

The bike houses a digital instrument cluster

The Triumph Trident 660 has an eye-catching naked design, featuring a step-up saddle, a muscular fuel tank with knee indents, an underslung exhaust, and a rounded headlight. The bike packs a digital instrument console, an all-LED setup for lighting, and rides on blacked-out alloy wheels. It has a 14-liter fuel tank and tips the scales at 189kg.

It runs on a 80hp, 660cc engine

The Triumph Trident 660 draws power from a 660cc, liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 80hp at 10,250rpm and a peak torque of 64Nm at 6,250rpm. The mill is linked to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch.

Safety

Disc brakes on both the wheels ensure safety

To ensure the rider's safety, the Triumph Trident 660 is equipped with disc brakes on both the wheels, along with dual-channel ABS and ride-by-wire throttle. It has two riding modes: Rain and Road. Suspension duties on the bike are taken care of by Showa's 41mm inverted forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit with adjustable preload on the rear end.
