Apple COO Jeff Williams retires after 27 years
Jeff Williams, Apple's longtime Chief Operating Officer, has called it a day after 27 years at the company.
His retirement marks Apple's biggest leadership shakeup in a decadeāhe was the guy behind the global supply chain and helped make the Apple Watch happen.
Now, Williams is stepping back to focus on family.

With Williams gone, Apple is shuffling its top team: Sabih Khan will take over most COO duties and run supply chain operations.
Eddy Cue now leads health and fitness projects (with Sumbul Desai reporting to him), while Craig Federighi picks up watchOS responsibilities.
John Ternus is now fully in charge of all things Apple Watch engineering.
