Bihar rolls out 'Udyog Varta' to attract new businesses

Bihar just launched "Udyog Varta," a weekly open forum where investors can chat directly with top government officials about growing industries in the state.
Led by Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, the initiative aims to make it easier for investors to share concerns and get quick support.

Weekly sessions, real talk with leaders

Every Thursday from 11am to 1pm investors can drop by the Directorate of Aircraft Organisation near Patna airport—no appointment needed.
The first session saw big names like Kislay Singh (Tensor Analytics) and Mahesh Kumar (Tiger Analytics) showing interest in data and AI projects.
With more industrialists pledging investments, officials say they're ready to tweak policies if needed so fresh ideas and businesses feel welcome in Bihar.
