Now exchange your old phone with a new Xiaomi one
Xiaomi had first introduced a trade-in programme back in November 2017 when the company had partnered with Cashify to allow users to exchange their old smartphones for a new one, across its Mi Home Stores. And now, with an aim to further expand its programme, Xiaomi has brought the smartphone exchange offer to its website, Mi.com. Here's more on how to avail this offer.
How to avail the Xiaomi Mi Exchange offer
Go to the offer page on Mi.com and select the smartphone you wish to exchange. You have to key in the phone's IMEI number, based on which Xiaomi will offer an exchange value. Upon acceptance, your Mi account will be credited, which can then be redeemed to buy a new smartphone from Mi.com. Your old handset will be collected when the new smartphone is delivered.
Key points to consider
Only those phones which are in working condition and not physically damaged can be exchanged. You will have to disable all the phone locks. Further, a customer can exchange only one phone per order. Notably, exchange coupon is valid for 14 days, starting from the time of issuance. Lastly, the offer is applicable only on smartphones and not other products or accessories.
