India aims $200B BRICS exports by 2030, ASSOCHAM cites manufacturing
India is gearing up to boost its exports to BRICS nations, aiming for $200 billion by 2030, more than double the $96 billion from the last fiscal year.
ASSOCHAM credits this surge to stronger partnerships and India's growing manufacturing muscle, with electronics, minerals, chemicals, textiles, and pharma leading the charge.
India BRICS trade $417B fiscal 2026
BRICS now includes 11 countries like Brazil, Russia, China, and South Africa: together they make up a huge chunk of global GDP and trade.
India's trade with these nations hit $417 billion in fiscal 2026.
If India adapts well to new BRICS Plus dynamics, ASSOCHAM says its share of imports could climb to 4% by 2030.
That means more opportunities for sectors like auto parts, engineering goods, gems and jewelry, rice, and seafood.
