IndiGo's operational performance has improved steadily over the past week. The airline operated over 1,700 flights on December 8 with one cancellation. This number increased to over 1,800 on December 9 and more than 1,900 services on December 10 with two cancellations. On December 11, it flew over 1,950 services with four cancellations before crossing the mark of over 2,050 flights on December 12 with just two cancellations.

IndiGo's compensation plan for affected passengers

IndiGo has promised a structured compensation program starting in January 2026. The airline said most refunds have already been processed and the remaining ones will be credited shortly. It is also identifying flights where passengers were stranded at airports on December 3-5 due to severe operational disruption. IndiGo has offered affected passengers ₹10,000 travel vouchers, valid for 12 months, in addition to mandatory compensation of ₹5,000-₹10,000 under government rules for last-minute flight cancellations.
