Jio builds subsea cables, landing stations to link tech hubs
Jio is stepping up its digital game by building new subsea cables and landing stations, aiming to boost data speeds and reliability for India's fast-growing data centers, especially those running on AI.
These upgrades will hook Indian servers up with major tech hubs around the world, like Singapore, Europe, the US and the Middle East.
JioCloudXP partners with Microsoft and Google
Jio's adding cable landing stations in West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh to back up its Mumbai and Chennai bases, making the network stronger for all that extra data.
Plus, with JioCloudXP (its hybrid cloud platform) teaming up with Microsoft and Google Cloud for next-generation AI tools, Jio's betting big on the future.
Their forecast? India's enterprise cloud market could grow from ₹375 billion in FY26 to ₹964 billion in FY31, at a 21% CAGR, excluding GPU-as-a-service.
