Last week select Indian firms lost ₹87,960.29cr, Airtel hardest hit

Last week was rough for some of India's biggest companies: Bharti Airtel, TCS, SBI, and Hindustan Unilever together lost ₹87,960.29 crore in value.
Bharti Airtel took the biggest hit, dropping ₹28,052.96 crore.
The overall market wasn't spared either: Sensex fell by 0.60% and Nifty by 0.46%.
Reliance Industries gains ₹8,119.53cr, remains top
While these giants saw red, Reliance Industries actually gained ₹8,119.53 crore and kept its top spot with a massive valuation of ₹17,78,175.59 crore.
LIC and a few other big names like L&T and HDFC Bank also managed small gains.
According to Ajit Mishra, SVP, Research, Religare Broking Ltd. global factors like high oil prices and rising bond yields made investors extra cautious last week.
