Mukesh Ambani's AI manifesto: 'Affordable AI for every Indian'
Mukesh Ambani unveiled a draft of Reliance Industries's AI manifesto, aiming to make the company an AI-native deep-tech company and embed AI across its workflows and businesses and bring "affordable AI for every Indian."
As Ambani put it, this is Reliance's SANKALP (resolve) to transform both business and daily life across India.
First, AI will overhaul how Reliance's 600,000 employees work
The plan has two parts:
First, Reliance will use AI to overhaul how its 600,000 employees work—think automating routine tasks and making decisions faster.
The goal? Big boosts in speed, efficiency, and quality across everything from hiring to supply chains.
Second part is about using Reliance's reach to roll out AI
The second part is about using Reliance's reach—like Jio's 500 million users and its businesses in retail, energy, health, finance—to roll out AI in areas like healthcare, education, rural development, and disaster response.
Employees are also being invited to share their thoughts on the plan.
