Panasonic India: Manish Sharma resigns after 17 years

After 17 years at the company, Manish Sharma is stepping down as Chairman & ESGO of Panasonic Life Solutions India.
He'll be helping with the transition, while CEO Tadashi Chiba will continue to manage the India business.

Sharma's legacy and Panasonic's future in India

Sharma led big growth for Panasonic in India, including opening its largest factory in Jhajjar, Haryana, and making India a key market.
Recently, the company decided to exit washing machines and refrigerators here to focus on more profitable areas like HVAC and B2B solutions.
Even with these shifts, Panasonic says it's committed to growing sustainably and staying active in India.
