Rebel Foods sees strong sales, but challenges remain
Business
Rebel Foods—the company behind Faasos and Behrouz—just posted a 14% revenue jump for FY25, reaching ₹1,617 crore.
Nearly all of this came from food sales, which hit ₹1,565 crore.
But even with the boost, the company still reported a loss of ₹336 crore, though that's actually an improvement over last year.
Rising costs and cautious optimism
Operating expenses went up 7%, mainly due to pricier materials and higher ad spending.
Despite this, Rebel Foods managed to keep ₹56 crore in cash and has current assets worth ₹597 crore.
The company's margins improved in FY25, even as costs continued to rise.
