Siemens bets on AI to transform Indian industry
Siemens is betting big on artificial intelligence (AI) to kickstart more private sector spending in India, after years where public projects led the way.
At its Innovation Day event on March 6, top leaders Peter Koerte and Sunil Mathur talked about how Industrial AI could change the game for Indian businesses.
Siemens's software and AI teams in India
India is Siemens's fourth-largest market, with 38,000 employees and 10,000 software-AI pros in Bengaluru and Pune.
These teams are building new Industrial AI tools with NVIDIA to make factories smarter, from design to operations.
What does this mean for jobs?
Siemens has already rolled out more than 700 digital projects using AI and automation with partners across industries.
Now it is hiring more data scientists, machine learning experts, and UX designers for next-generation factory tech, and expanding factories in Goa and Mumbai.
If you're into tech or curious about where jobs are headed, this is one to watch.
