Wiz enters India, eyes growth in cloud security market

Business

Cloud security company Wiz is officially launching in India, aiming to help businesses stay safer as more of their work moves online and AI tools become common.
Arie Zilberstein from Wiz points out that with so much critical data now in the cloud—and new risks popping up due to AI-generated code—companies need stronger, unified protection.

What else is happening?

This India launch comes just as Google is set to acquire Wiz for $32 billion.
With India's cybersecurity market expected to reach over $20 billion by 2030, Wiz has already signed up 30+ big clients and built teams in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi.
Anil Bhasin, who heads things up locally, says the Google deal won't change their focus on multicloud solutions or their goal of delivering real value—especially important for Indian companies watching costs closely.
