Aamir Khan discusses career fears over short height
Aamir Khan recently shared that he felt pretty anxious starting out in Bollywood, especially about his height. "At the beginning of my career, I was very afraid. Amit ji was number one, and he was over six feet tall," he told Just Too Filmy, admitting he wondered if a "short actor like me would even stand a chance."
'Would audiences take me seriously...'
Back then, most leading men—like Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha—towered over him. Aamir said he worried if audiences or filmmakers would take him seriously because of his height. Still, despite those doubts, he's built a career spanning three decades.
