'Akhanda 2' release hits pause over legal trouble

Akhanda 2, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, is facing uncertainty regarding its release due to a legal dispute.
The Madras High Court put the brakes on the release until producers pay ₹28 crore plus interest to Eros International Media, following an arbitration order.

Ticket prices up (but for a good cause)

For its opening weekend in Telangana, ticket prices are getting a temporary hike—premiere shows will cost ₹600, with regular single-screen and multiplex tickets at ₹227 and ₹395.
The cool part: 20% of the extra money from these higher prices will go straight to support film industry workers through the Movie Artists's Welfare Association.
After the first weekend, prices go back to normal.
