Allu Arjun honored at Telangana Gaddar Film Awards
Telangana just brought back its state film awards, now called the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards in memory of the late revolutionary poet and balladeer Gaddar. The first ceremony in years happened at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Izzatnagar, Hyderabad, shining a light on local talent and standout films.
Here are the major winners
Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD grabbed both Best Film and Best Director. Allu Arjun won Best Actor for Pushpa 2, while Nivetha Thomas took home Best Actress for 35 Chinna Katha Kadu. Pottel and Lucky Bhaskar also got nods as Second and Third Best Films.

A jury led by actor Jayasudha picked winners from over 1,200 entries, with each award coming with a cash prize. This reboot is all about celebrating Telugu cinema's creativity—and honoring Gaddar's legacy—giving young filmmakers something to aim for.
