Amitabh Bachchan praises son Abhishek's acting dedication
Amitabh Bachchan just gave a heartfelt shoutout to his son Abhishek, applauding his "immense dedication" and bold career moves.
In a recent blog post, Amitabh admired how Abhishek chooses tough roles instead of playing it safe.
He even shared a glimpse of Abhishek's new film, Kaalidhar Laapata, dropping on ZEE5 this July 4.
'He dared to act...my admiration to my inheritor,' wrote Big B
Amitabh wrote, "He dared to act and be recognized... my admiration to my inheritor, my son."
He referenced both poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Ram Dhari Singh 'Dinkar' to highlight that real success comes from daring choices—something he clearly sees in Abhishek's willingness to take on unconventional characters.
'Kaalidhar Laapata'—a tale of a man and a kid
In the upcoming film, Abhishek plays Kaalidhar—a middle-aged man who runs away after discovering his siblings want to abandon him at the Maha Kumbh Mela.
The story follows his unexpected friendship with Ballu, an eight-year-old street-smart kid.
Directed by Madhumita, the movie also stars Sukhman Sukhia and Aastha Sidana.
