'Manmarziyaan': Why Big B praised Vicky, Taapsee, but not Abhishek
Anurag Kashyap directed 'Manmarziyaan' recently caught the eye of Amitabh Bachchan, and he was full of emotions after watching the film. Amitabh, who is known for grandiosely expressing his amazement as a viewer, sent a letter of appreciation to Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu, the leading actors of 'Manmarziyaan'. But he didn't say anything to son Abhishek Bachchan. Here's why.
Where is the comment for Abhishek?
A DNA report says that Amitabh was full of emotions after seeing Abhishek's performance in the film, hence didn't give him any feedback. 'Manmarziyaan' is Abhishek's first film after a two-year gap. When Abhishek asked his father for his reaction to his performance, the 75-year-old actor said, "I'll speak to you later." The proud father was apparently speechless! Of course, in a good way.
Amitabh's tweet speaks for itself
T 2927 - There are times when you are so choked with emotion that it is impossible to speak .. or say and express anything .. I am such now .. and there shall be occasion to find out why soon .. !!— Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) September 9, 2018
Amitabh finds Vicky's performance 'exceptional'
In his letter to Vicky, Amitabh wrote, "I've always admired your work, your versatility in 'Manmarziyaan' is exceptional." Vicky also received a bouquet of lilies from the veteran actor. Taapsee, who had worked with Amitabh in 'Pink', also received a letter. She shared a picture of her smiling ear-to-ear, holding the letter in her hand and wrote, "Finally! This letter! A milestone achieved."
The letter every actor is waiting for: Vicky
