What's the story

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the much-awaited Cocktail 2 with an A certificate, reported Bollywood Hungama. It cleared the film, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, without demanding any visual edits, allowing all on-screen sequences to remain intact. It has a runtime of 149.19 minutes. However, a few audio-related changes were implemented before the certificate was issued.

Changes made

These things were censored in the film

The CBFC asked the Cocktail 2 makers to remove a curse word mentioned in the subtitle. Moreover, the word Agni had to be changed to Diya wherever it appeared in the film. The board also ordered the removal of the phrase, "Jew on the run." However, the certification order did not explain the context in which the phrase appeared in Cocktail 2.
