Delhi HC bars 'Bro Code' movie from using title
Entertainment
The Delhi High Court has told Ravi Mohan Studios to pause using "Bro Code" as the title for its new movie.
This comes after Indo-Spirit Beverages, which has sold an alcoholic drink called Bro Code, said the film's name could confuse people and hurt their brand.
Court's reasoning and contempt petition
Justice Tejas Kariya agreed that sharing the same name might mislead consumers and damage Indo-Spirit's reputation.
Even after the court order on October 28, ads for the movie reportedly kept popping up, so Indo-Spirit filed a contempt petition against the studio.
Until then, the film can't be promoted or released under "Bro Code."
