'Deva' actor Mehdi arrested as MD drugs worth ₹5.60L seized

Rohullah Mehdi, who acted in Shahid Kapoor's Deva, has been arrested by Mumbai police for allegedly being part of a drug network.

Officers seized MD drugs around ₹5.60 lakh during the operation and picked up Mehdi outside a Malad studio while he was shooting.

Kasif arrested, Mehdi held 5 days

Police got a tip that drugs were being sold via Snapchat and WhatsApp, so they set up a sting.

After arresting another man named Kasif during a delivery, they learned about Mehdi's involvement.

Mehdi is now in police custody for five days as investigators look into possible film industry links.
