'Dhurandhar' beats 'Fighter,' 'Animal' to set new Netflix record
Ranveer Singh's new film Dhurandhar just set a major Netflix record, pulling in 7.6 million views during its opening weekend after dropping on January 30.
That makes it the first Indian movie to cross seven million post-theatrical views, beating out big titles like Animal, Fighter, and Pushpa 2.
This is everything we know about 'Dhurandhar'
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a spy action thriller where Singh plays an undercover agent in Pakistan.
The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.
It's not just a streaming hit—Dhurandhar has made over ₹1,300 crore worldwide and became the first Bollywood film to earn ₹1,000 crore in India alone.
Globally, it topped Netflix's non-English Top 10 in seven countries and racked up over 26 million viewing hours—even trending in Pakistan despite being banned there.
