Emraan Hashmi is stepping back into his iconic role as Shivam for Awarapan 2, the sequel to the 2007 cult favorite.
The original won hearts with its music and intense story, and now fans can look forward to a new chapter in Shivam's journey.
The sequel was officially announced on Hashmi's birthday earlier this year.

Cast, crew, and release date of the film

Directed by Nitin Kakkar and written by Bilal Siddiqui, Awarapan 2 is produced by Vishesh Bhatt under Vishesh Films.
Filming kicked off in Bangkok with an Instagram post of the muhurat shot was shared.
The movie promises to bring back the emotional depth and memorable soundtrack of the first film, and is set to hit theaters on April 3, 2026.
