Dharmendra passed away on November 24, marking the end of an era in Indian cinema. His last rites were held at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile Parle. Several Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan among others attended the cremation to pay their respects to the Deol family.

He was hospitalized at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital earlier this month after his condition worsened.
