Here's how Salman prepared for shirtless 'Dabangg 3' climax sequence
  • Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and the excitement surrounding it is palpable.

And while his fans are eagerly waiting for its release, it is reported that the superstar will soon be shooting an exciting, action-packed climax for the movie.

In fact, he also underwent rigorous training for the shirtless fight opposite antagonist Kiccha Sudeep.

  • As per a DNA report, the climax will feature some freehand fight combat scenes, which will be shot next week.

The 53-year-old actor had to alter his workout regime to maintain his flexibility in those scenes.

"He had to be flexible enough to carry on with the stunts, for which he added stretching and rope skipping activities in his exercise routine," a source said.

  • Dabangg 3 will have two parallel tracks focusing on the past and present lives of Chulbul Pandey.

For the sequences that required him to look younger, he has been training relentlessly for over six months to be in perfect shape.

"Ever since the film's shoot started, he started working on his physique and added multiple tough exercises in his routine," the source added.

  • Reportedly, a major portion of the climax was shot in May this year, and Salman had worked hard for that as well.

The report suggested that he had incorporated heavy weight lifting, running, swimming and cycling in his daily routine, along with a little change in his diet.

"There were days when he used to ride his cycle to Film City," said the source.

  • On a related note, the third installment of the Dabangg franchise will also star Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan.

They will be reprising their respective roles of Rajjo and Makkhi.

However, Vinod Khanna, who passed away in April 2017 due to bladder cancer, will be replaced by his younger brother Pramod.

Pramod will essay the role of Chulbul's father, Prajapati Pandey, in Dabangg 3.

To note, this will be Salman's second collaboration with Prabhu Deva, after their 2009 release Wanted, which was a box office hit.
