Kamal Haasan's Thug Life struggles at box office

Mani Ratnam's action-drama Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan, Trisha Krishnan, Silambarasan, and Aishwarya Lekshmi, had high expectations but couldn't deliver. The film follows Rangaraya Sakthivel, an aging criminal out for revenge against his betrayers. Even with its star cast and dramatic plot, it struggled to connect beyond die-hard fans of Haasan and Ratnam.

'Thug Life' struggles at the box office

Thug Life opened strong with ₹15.5 crore on day one but quickly lost steam—by day six it made just ₹1.75 crore across India. 'Thug Life': Worth watching or not?

If you're a fan of intense revenge dramas or love Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's work together, you might still enjoy Thug Life for its performances and genre vibes. But if you're looking for a blockbuster experience or something fresh, this one might not hit the mark.
