Salman Khan's much-awaited film, Maatrubhumi, is now looking at a May 15, 2026, release instead of April. The shift comes after the remaining shoot was completed.
We're still waiting for an official date, but excitement is definitely building.
'Maatrubhumi' launch dropped over 'Lahore 1947'
To dodge a clash with Aamir Khan's Lahore 1947, the makers dropped plans for an Independence Day launch.
Maatrubhumi was earlier called Battle of Galwan and got its new name (plus the tagline "May War Rest in Peace") just last month.
Director Apoorva Lakhia says the film will focus on the personal and emotional side of war, less about battles, more about what soldiers go through behind the scenes.
