The much-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed film Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006) will go on floors in December, reported Mid-day. The news was confirmed by lead actor Anupam Kher, who told the publication, "We are starting Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 next month." The original film was directed by Dibakar Banerjee and also starred Boman Irani, Parvin Dabas, and Ranvir Shorey.

Kher also revealed that the original cast will be reuniting for the sequel. He said, "It's a brilliant script. That was my major concern...the script has to be great. The film was remade in Tamil as Poi Solla Porom (2008) and in Kannada as Rame Gowda vs Krishna Reddy (2010).
