The upcoming comedy film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The certification comes with one minor cut, an "inappropriate" use of a real name in an early scene. Despite concerns over its religious themes and community representation, the board left all religion-based humor untouched, as per Bollywood Hungama.

A source told the portal, "All the dialogues related to religion and communities have been left untouched because the makers have been careful not to hurt any sentiments." "The CBFC members appreciated this move and saw no reason to ask for any cuts. Even visually, there was nothing to cut." "Nevertheless, the film was passed with a U/A 16+ rating and not U/A 13+ or U/A 7+, presumably as the film deals with a man having multiple wives."

After implementing the suggested cut, the makers received the censor certificate on November 25. The movie, directed by Anukalp Goswami and starring Kapil Sharma along with Hira Warina, Parul Gulati, Tridha Choudhary, Ayesha Khan, Akhilendra Mishra, Manjot Singh, Vipin Sharma, Jamie Lever, Sushant Singh, and the late Asrani is 142.25 minutes long (2 hours 22 minutes and 25 seconds). It will hit theaters on Friday.
